Cuban VP Esteban Lazo Attends Swearing-In Ceremony of Cristina
Fernandez in Argentina
HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 10 (acn) Vice
President Esteban Lazo Hernandez heads the Cuban delegation that
traveled to Argentina to participate in the presidential swearing-in
ceremony of Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.

Cristina, who was
inaugurated on December 10, 2007, was re-elected for a
second term in office during the October 23 Argentinean
presidential
elections, when she took a landslide victory with almost 54% of
the vote.
On Saturday morning and outside the National Congress or
Argentina, she
was sworn in for a second term, on this occasion for the
2012-2015 period.
The Argentinean leader pledged to uphold her duties in honor of
the
constitution, the voters, and the memory of her late husband,
former
President Nestor Kirchner.
The Cuban delegation also includes Deputy Foreign Minister Ana
Teresita
Gonzalez Fraga.
