Blanco will
also give lectures at the
Academy of History of the Santo
Domingo Autonomous University,
according to Granma newspaper.
One of the
presentations of the book on
Fidel, whose edition in the
Dominican Republic was made by
writer Hamlet Hermann, will take
place during celebrations in
Cuba for the 59th
anniversary of the 1953 attacks
on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel
de Cespedes barracks of the
former Batista dictatorship.
Guerrilla of
Time includes two volumes and
over 168 pages and was first
published in February 2002, at
Havana’s International Book
Fair.
Editor
Hermann said that Fidel Castro
has always been supportive of
the struggle of the Dominican
people, either in his role as
political leader, guerrilla or
head of state.
