Raul Castro Attends Parliament’s Sessions
HAVANA, Cuba, July 23 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba is participating in this capital, in the Ninth Ordinary Period of Sessions of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly of the People’s Power (Parliament).

Also attending the meeting underway in the Havana’s Conventions Center is Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers, along other members of these bodies of state, ministers, and guests.

A new tax law will be submitted for consideration of the legislators, as well as the liquidation of the 2011 Budget and its execution for the first half of this year, according to the program.

The Ministry of Public Health will report the results of his management during the same period.
