CNE president Alina
Balsiero told reporters that more than
14,000 Electoral Commissions are being set
up in the same number of constituencies
throughout the country.
The members of the
commissions at all levels are currently
being trained while the electoral registers
are being checked, said the official.
Neighbors will hold
assemblies to nominate their candidates in
September by proposing those they consider
with most abilities to govern them. Once
elected by the neighbors, the candidates’
biographies and photos will be put on public
display for electors to choose.
After this process
concludes, the election of the Provincial
Assemblies and the Deputies for the National
Parliament will take place.
