Cuba-Martinique Business Forum at Caribbean Festival
Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, July 3 (ACN) The chambers of
commerce of Cuba and Martinique will sponsor a business
forum next July 5 and 6 as part of activities of the 32nd
Caribbean Festival, which is dedicated to the island nation
of Martinique this year.
The Festival, which was
inaugurated on Tuesday with a cultural gala at the
local Heredia theater, will host the business forum to identify
bilateral
cooperation opportunities, said the director of Martinique’s
Council of
Patrimony and Culture, Manuel Cesaire.
Speaking to reporters in Santiago, Cesaire described the
business forum as
a good opportunity to present a picture of Martinique’s economy
and
tourism, and the activity of bakers, craftsmen and chefs in
particular.
Cesaire appreciated the support given by the Cuban Culinary
Association to
an exhibit of native dishes and drinks from Martinique.
