Brazil Interested in Technical Cooperation with Cuba
HAVANA, Cuba, June 14 (acn)
Marco Farani, director of the Brazilian Cooperation Agency,
highlighted the importance of exchanging technical knowledge
and of learning from Cuba’s good
practices in the construction of a fairer world for all.
These statements
by Farani took place after the signing of the first
cooperation agreement between the Superior Court of Justice
of Brazil (STJ) and the Popular Supreme Court of the
Caribbean island, which have maintained fruitful exchanges
for a few years now, the Prensa Latina new agency reported
on Thursday.
Signing the document were Ari Pargendler, president of the
STJ, and Carlos Zamora, Cuban ambassador to Brasilia.
On the occasion, an additional adjustment to the bilateral
agreement of scientific, technical and technological
cooperation signed in 1987 was also ratified.
Pargendler stated that the Court of Law is honored by the
trust place in him as representative of this exchange and
described the signing of the agreement as the culmination of
a months-long process.
