Three large deposits are ready
to receive the diesel after reestablishing
ceilings, cooling systems, stairs and other areas as well as
the
replacement of valves and pipes, according to the center´s
director Jorge
Alvarez Breff who spoke to the official daily Granma.
CUPET Antilla, as its known, receives the fuel from the
refinery in the
city of Santiago de Cuba and distributes it in its own
territory, in
addition to the municipalities of Banes, Báguano, Cueto and
Mayarí,
operations that are carried out with strict compliance of
its contracts.
The conclusion of the reparations also includes the upcoming
establishment
of the Antilla railroad bridge which will increase the
number of cargo
trains and fuel with the objective of reducing
transportation spending by
road and look for more economic outcome, said Alvarez.
