Andres Gomez Soon on a Tour of California, in Favor of the
Five
HAVANA, Cuba, June 6 (acn)
Andres Gomez, an advocate in Miami for many years of the
normalization of relations between the United States and
Cuba, and of Cuba’s right to self-
determination, will begin a tour of the US state of
California in favor of the Cuban Five on
June 16, in the city of San Francisco.
The tour will continue on June
20 in Sacramento, and the following three days he will
travel to San Jose, Los Angeles and San Diego, in that
order, the www.cubaperiodistas.cu Web site reported.
Andres is the coordinator of the Antonio Maceo Brigade, an
organization of Cubans living in the US and who defend the
Cuban Revolution. He’s the editor of the on-line magazine "Areitodigital".
As part of the Brigade and of the Marti Alliance, Andres has
been a leader since 2001 in the campaign to achieve the
release of the five Cubans unfairly incarcerated in the
United States for fighting terrorism.
