The Hemingway tourney will conclude this Saturday and it is led by the
French crew, followed by their Ukrainian and US counterparts and the
winner will be decided this afternoon.

Aprile said he is in love with Cuba, and has fished in its waters for over
two decades, an activity he claims he will continue doing “while I have
the strength”

He led the teams that won back-to-back titles in 2005-06, and then in
2009, being the only foreign team to achieve that feat in the last decade.

This time Cuba didn’t enter any teams in the event, and has only provided
supplies and ship captains, as well as members of the jury.

The Ernest Hemingway International Billfishing Tournament is considered as
one of the best worldwide by experts and participants.
