The celebration, another demonstration of jubilation for the presence of the Supreme Pontiff in Cuba, consists in a feast of color and lights called Arte Luz, (Art and Lights) by Italian-French artist Gaspare Di Caro.

The Catholic Temple, located on the former Plaza de la Cienaga – presently Cathedral Square – will be decked out for the visit with a spectacular design of lights and images projected onto the walls of the building, creating a unique environment.

The event is sponsored by the Brazilian-Paraguayan foundation called ITAIOU Technological Park, the Organization of Iberian-American States, the City Historian’s Office, the Felix Varela Cultural Center, and the Office of the Archbishopric of Havana.
