Cuba Releases Bookkeeping Digital Tool for the Self-employed
HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 21 (acn)
Cuba’s Information and Telematics Services CITMATEL
announced Saturday the release of a CD-Rom with a program
that will help the self-employed in keeping a record of
their financial transactions.
With the name “Cuentas Claras”
(Short Reckonings), the CD will be
available in several bookstores of Havana. The CD contains a
computer
program to calculate the individual taxes based on
regulations established
for the self-employed by the National Tax Administration
Office (ONAT).
The digital took will make it easier for those running their
own business
in the island to draw reports on their expenses, income and
taxes and to
keep a record of their financial operations, among others.
Updates on the program will be released as the current tax
legislation is
changed.
