The diplomat opened the exhibition "Norwegian Contemporary Architecture Number Seven" with a selection of the best pieces by professionals of that nation from over the last few years, which identify particular tendencies and characteristics.

He informed that, previously, the exhibition was present at the Architecture Biennial of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and that it will stay in Havana until January 15, to then be presented in Poland.

Daniel Taboada, head of the Department of Vernacular Architecture of the City Historian’s Office, said that the exhibition shows a wide range of works, ranging from a tourist cabin to large airport in India.

The exhibition’s curator, Eva Madhshus, explained that the National Museum of Art,
Architecture and Design in Oslo, organizes this type of exhibition since the 1970’s, part of which tours other countries while the other part tours the entire Norwegian territory. She announced that next week renowned Norwegian architects will give conferences and workshops, which could result in interesting joint projects.
