Venezuela Congratulates Cuba on the 53rd Anniversary of the Revolution

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 1 (acn) President Hugo Chavez, on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, congratulated Cuba on Sunday, on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, on January 1st, 1959.

   In a communique released in Caracas by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the head of state also thanked Cubans for the solidarity and support given to that South American country “in the struggle against poverty and exclusion” and in fields like health and education, the Prensa Latina news agency reported.
