Bulgarian journalist Krasi Venkiva,
a writer for the organ of the
Communist Party of that country, published a review of the
exhibition titled " A Walk through the Havana of yesterday,
today and
ever,” and read a poem dedicated to Ramon Labañino, Gerardo
Hernandez,
Fernando Gonzalez, Antonio Guerrero and Rene Gonzalez, in a
moving gesture
of solidarity at the inauguration of the event.
Venkova said the Cuban Five were unjustly condemned since they
were trying
to warn over actions led by anti-Cuba terrorist groups based in
the U.S
state of Florida, reads a reported on the Cuban Foreign
Ministry’s website
www.cubaminrex.cu.
In her article, Venkova explained that the exhibition takes
viewers to a
tour of Havana that represents the long and hard road walked by
the Cuban
people throughout nearly five decades of the economic blockade
imposed by
the U.S., maintaining, in spite of which, their goals and
ideals.
The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by Cuban
ambassador to
Bulgaria Teresa Capote, as well as local writers, poets and
