The director of this institution, Abel Exposito Diaz, told the press that about 350 delegates from Germany, Canada, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, and Switzerland, among other nations, are expected to take part in this event.

This meeting is dedicated to the 492nd anniversary of the foundation of Havana, the 166th anniversary of the Partagas Cigars Royal Factory, and the 18th of the Casa del Habano Partagas ––which was inaugurated in 1993.

Exposito announced that as in previous years, the participants will be able to taste cigars especially made for this occasion.

He noted that within the context of the meeting they will offer exclusive cases with allegorical cigar bands, humidors made by renowned Cuban artists, and guayaberas (the Cuban national garment), among other articles; and added that they will hold a draw and an auction to collect funds for the Cuban health system.

In this sense, the Casa del Habano Partagas has raised more than 287,000
Cuban convertible pesos (CUC) for health initiatives such as programs to
fight cancer.

The program of activities of the event includes visits to Club Havana, the
Equestrian Center at the Lenin Park, and the Alcona Farm. The participants
