He noted that courses, seminaries and workshops are offered
every year all across the nation to let livestock and
agricultural farmers know about the latest and best techniques
and experiences on this respect.
The president of the Organizing Committee, Beatriz Amaro, said
the international meeting will serve to show the strength of
Cuba’s human resources regarding veterinary control, clinical
medicine and diagnosis, among other aspects.
She added that nearly 130 representatives from 30 countries and
200 Cuban specialists are participating in the event.
The gathering includes the exhibition of vaccines and other
medicines produced by the Havana-based Labiofam laboratories and
by the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering.
