Guerrero said the encounter has given him strength to move forward with
renewed energies and indestructible optimism. He also wrote about his next
plans that include helping his son Gabriel with an upcoming test.

According to the letter, Guerrero is also planning on filing a transfer
request to a prison in Florida, which he said could take a while to be
processed and that it could be even denied.

On related news, Granma newspaper published this Tuesday that there are
874 artists, writers, academicians and social activists from 40 countries
in favor of Rene Gonzalez’s return to Cuba and the release of Gerardo
Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero, Ramon Labañino and Fernando Gonzalez,
following the launching, five days ago, of a message titled “Let’s support
Cuba in its fair claim.”

The document addressed to U.S. authorities was initially backed up by more
than 400 personalities from all over the world, among them six Nobel Prize
winners: writers Elfriede Jelinek (Austria), Nadine Gordimer (South
Africa) and Dario Fo (Italy), physicist Zhores Alfiorov (Rusia) and social
leaders Rigoberta Menchu (Guatemala) and Adolfo Perez Esquivel
(Argentina).
