Hernandez set his previous record (1:28 hours) in the facilities of the Club Havana, in this same city, in 2009.

For a moment it seemed he wouldnt be able to make it, but he knew how to keep balance when hitting the ball to achieve his purpose.

The Cuban world-record holder told ACN that he was very tense because he did not want to fail so that he could dedicate this deed to the centenary of football in Cuba and to the 51st anniversary of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDRs)

Hernandez explained that all ball control tests are very difficult, but the modality of using tights only, in particular, requires almost perfect physical training, and this is the result.

He noted that in spite of all that training as he past the 1:20 hours he started to feel very exhausted but he was able to control it and achieve his third record of the year.

Among his most outstanding universal records in ball control, there is: 100 meter (17.38 seconds), marathon (7.17 hours), and in longest time hitting the ball with the whole body (19.10 hours).
