FELAP President Says Politicians Should Pay Attention to Fidel’s Warnings

After mentioning some of the consequences that an armed conflict in Asia would bring to the world, Camaño regretted that the impact of Fidel’s reiterated warnings on the so-called world great leaders is not as strong as they it should be.

Argentinean journalist Camaño the risk of an attack on Iran by the US and its allies is a fact, based on the American need to not step back on its geographic, military and technological expansion.

Camaño said Fidel Castro is usually right on his predictions and his denunciations have a special meaning in a moment when the world mainstream media silences a danger that is clearer everyday.

The journalist explained that the psychological action of transnational media is aimed at favoring the public opinion’s acceptance of a probable invasion to Iran, as happened with Iraq, although it would eventually be rejected by the peoples.

It is about manipulating the world so that when the inevitable reaction of rejection is produced, the imperialist purposes have been already fulfilled and the losst of thousands or millions of human lives will be regretted, said the Argentinean.

Camaño is in Cuba since last Wednesday on a working visit to establish contact between FELAP and its member organizations.

FELAP groups together the main media organizations of the region.
