Lasval explained that in the case of any problem regarding conventional communication means, radio hams and pigeon fanciers will be working in all municipalities and in remote localities of difficult access, mainly in mountainous areas.

The National Electoral Commission announced that a total of 1,511 candidates have so far been chosen in Sancti Spiritus.

The first round of the national partial elections to elect delegates for municipal
assemblies will take place on April 25 while the second round is scheduled for May 1.
