For
example, in central Sancti Spiritus province, Rolando Lasval,
delegate of the Ministry of Informatics and Communications in the
territory, told ACN that all the necessary lines for the
transmission of data have been installed, including 55 telephones
and the activation of nearly a dozen mobile lines.
He added that specialists from the Youth’s Club of Computing and
Electronics in the region are responsible for the security and the
good performance of all computers.
Lasval explained that in the case of any problem regarding
conventional communication means, radio hams and pigeon fanciers
will be working in all municipalities and in remote localities of
difficult access, mainly in mountainous areas.
The National Electoral Commission announced that a total of 1,511
candidates have so far been chosen in Sancti Spiritus.
The first round of the national partial elections to elect delegates
for municipal
