US Expert Will Speak
in Congress on Labor
HAVANA, Cuba,
March 17 (acn) Dean Hubbard, labor coordinator of the US’s National
Lawyers Guild (NLG), will speak on Wednesday during the opening
session of the 12th Central American and Caribbean Congress on Labor
and Social Security that begins today at Havana’s Hotel Nacional
with the participation of professionals from 15 countries.

The
President of the Cuban Society of Labor Right and Social Security,
Antonio Raudillo Martin Sanchez, told ACN that the US specialist
will speak about the way in which lawyers can help workers who are
currently facing a general crisis of capitalism.
The NLG is an association of US lawyers that worked in support of a
motion requesting a new trial for the five Cuban antiterrorist
fighters who remain unjustly imprisoned in the United States since
1998.
