During his
stay in Russia, Cabrisas met with the Vice President of the Russian
government Igor Sechin and with the ministers of Energy, Serguei
Shmatko and of Health and Social Development, Tatiana Golikova,
Prensa Latina reported.
Cabrisas, co-chaired the Joint Intergovernmental Commission meeting
held between the two countries in representation of a Cuban
delegation.
He met as well with the Industry and Trade Minister Viktor
Jristienko and the Vice
President of the State Duma, Ivan Melnikov.
During
bilateral dialogues, different aspects with views to the 10th
Cuba-Russia Joint Intergovernmental Commission session were settled.
The meeting is due to take place on April in Havana.
In particular, the Moscow meeting focused on the analysis of
collaboration projects between the two nations in such fields as
biotechnology, health care and the pharmaceutical-medical industry.
Likewise, the other members of the Cuban delegation held talks with
their Russian
counterparts in different ministries among them civil aeronautics,
agriculture,
communications, tourism, transportation, biotechnology, education
and science.
