The mother of Gerardo Hernandez, one of the five Cuban
antiterrorists unjustly incarcerated in the United States,
passed away at noon Monday.
Wreaths sent by Raul, Revolution leader Fidel Castro, Gerardo
and his wife Adriana, and the people of Cuba, were placed on her
coffin.
In spite of being ill, Carmen, 76, actively participated in the
campaign to publicize the truth about the case of The Five and
to promote the demand for a fair trial for these men, who
attempted to prevent the carrying out of terrorist acts against
Cuba.
