HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 28 (acn) The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida

the United States.

The date for the re-sentencing of Fernando and Ramon – who were arrested in 1998 along with Gerardo Hernandez, Antonio Guerrero and Rene Gonzalez for monitoring right wing groups in South Florida that were planning and carrying out terrorist actions against Cuba – was set for next December 8th in Miami.

In 2008, the Atlanta Court of Appeals annulled the sentences of Antonio Guerrero (life plus 10 years), Ramón (life plus 18 years) and Fernando (19 years) because they were considered excessive and contrary to the federal rules.

The re-sentencing hearing for Antonio took place on October 13, where the Court imposed a sentence of 21 years and 10 months.
