Three
were the accords signed at the end of the 38th Session of the
Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and
Technical Consultation, a meeting of study and decision making
held every year.
The Cuban delegation was headed by
Construction Minister Fidel Figueroa, while the North Korean
party was headed by Foreign Trade minister Ri Ryong Nam.
The first agreement deals with
commercial exchange for 2010; the second one sets the principles
for the changing and implementation of prices for commerce
between the Foreign Trade ministries of the two countries; while
the third one establishes everything referring to the 38th
session.
Prior to the meeting, an accord
was signed for exchanges between the national libraries of Cuba
and the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea.
Ryong Nam highlighted that the
signing of these agreements reflects the friendship and
cooperation existing between the two nations, and congratulated
the specialists in the meeting for the work done in their
respective commissions.
