The Iberian singer said he was happy to be once more in Cuba after so many years and added that people must sing to the historical memory as a powerful weapon.

Victor Manuel, along his wife Ana Belen, is considered one of the symbolic artists in the Spanish transition.

He was preceded onstage by Cuban singer Amaury Perez, who sang “Yo tengo un amor difícil” and “Hacerte venir”, enjoyed by the over a million people attending the mega-concert.

From Spain, Miguel Bose sang a first round of his most popular pieces in his repertoire to later join Colombian Juanes onstage.

Bose said that this Sunday all of them were fulfilling a dream of brotherhood and love, and invited other artists from around the world to come together for peace, the most important human right, he stressed.
