Some 200,000 people including combatants in the
heroic actions led by Fidel Castro on July 26, 1953 are expected
to gather at the Revolution square of the “City of Parks” to
celebrate the National Rebelliousness Day in representation of
all the Cuban people.
The meeting will serve to recognize Holguin
people’s hard efforts to recover from the severe impact of
devastating storms that hit the country last year.
Likewise, this Saturday evening, a cultural gala
named "Revolution of Ours, Our Love" will be held in the Calixto
García park featuring outstanding local artists. It will be
screened live in three large screens that will be set in
different spots of the city to give more people the opportunity
to enjoy the show that will end with fireworks.
